7 3 Fuel Bowl Heater Fuse

Then started it started and ran fine so i pluged back in the waist gate and it still ran fine so i know i have a problem with the fbh.

So to ddiagnose the problem i disconnected the plug for the fbh and the waist gate. Going over common problems with the stock fuel bowl on 7 3 powerstroke. You can temporarly get by with unplugging the electrical connector from the fuel bowl and replace the 30amp fuse until your new heating element arrives.

It seems like the fuse was on the left side of the engine compartment but i m not sure where it is in a 99. 7 3 powerstroke fuel heater failure. I found that the wiring on the 42 pin plug had rubbed through on the driver side valve cover and kept shorting out and blown the fuse. Fuel bowl heater element 99 03 f81z9j294aa toggle menu.

I left it disconected and runs fine my question is is this going to hurt. Obs fuel bowls are different than super duty fuel bowls. Can somebody tell me what fuse controls the fuel heater in the bowl. Until i found it i hot wired the fuel pump and it started.
